4. Subscription & Payment

4.1 Billing

• Subscriptions renew automatically on your renewal date
• You authorise us to charge your payment method automatically
• All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
• Billing statements are issued monthly/annually as per your plan

4.2 Payment Method Changes

You may update your payment method at any time through your account dashboard. Changes take effect on the next billing date.

4.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. If payment ultimately fails, we may suspend your account until payment is received. Continued non-payment may result in account termination.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period, unless otherwise requested.

5.2 Refund Policy

• 14-Day Money Back Guarantee: If you cancel within 14 days of initial signup and have not used our services significantly, we offer a full refund of your first payment
• After 14 Days: No refunds are provided for services already rendered, but you may cancel to avoid future charges
• Pro-rata Refunds: If you cancel mid-cycle after the 14-day period, no refund is provided (you retain access until the end of your paid period)

5.3 Account Data Upon Cancellation

Upon cancellation:

• Your website will remain accessible for 30 days
• After 30 days, your website and data will be deleted
• You can request a data export before deletion
• You are responsible for backing up any important data

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including:

• Illegal activities or fraud
• Harassment, discrimination, or abuse of others
• Malware, viruses, or code designed to harm systems
• Spamming, phishing, or deceptive practices
• Copyright or intellectual property infringement
• Obscene, defamatory, or offensive content
• Unauthorised access to systems or accounts
• Denial-of-service attacks or similar harmful activities
• Posting confidential business information without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

• You retain ownership of all content you upload to your website
• You grant us a licence to host, display, and transmit your content

All materials provided by Let's Make A Website, including designs, templates, and code, are our intellectual property or licensed from third parties. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify them without permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime, but make no guarantee of uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Unplanned outages (beyond our control)
• Internet service provider failures
• Third-party service disruptions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Exclusion: We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Cap: Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
